4 Ways to Hate Mornings Less

1. Stop tapping “snooze.”

The instant gratification of a smidge more slumber is tempting. But those 7 minutes won’t make getting up easier; they’ll just make your morning more rushed and stressful. Instead, try to get on a regular sleep schedule with a doable wake-up time.

2. Wake up with a cup of … water?

Yup. Before you reach for a cup of coffee or an energy drink, get rehydrated with a glass of water. Because you weren’t drinking water while you slept (unless you have a really weird hidden talent).

3. Get your kit together.

There are certain things you need to do every morning. A “routine,” as the French call it. Make yours easier by storing everything you know you’ll need in one place: BIC® razor, shaving cream, toothbrush, deodorant, etc.

4. Shave at the right time.

The ideal time to shave is after your shower. Your skin is clean and grit-free, and the warm humidity makes it more elastic. For extra comfort, let your shaving gel rest on your skin for a few minutes before you start shaving.
